Cosmo .. my guess is that it is over on Inchicore Road where the Metropolitan Laundry was redeveloped as apartments around that time.

When a longstanding member and contributor, in this case Twangman, spends years putting together a work of genuine historical, cultural or artistic merit relating to the city that the forum relates to - then it would be ridiculous and a travesty to put any barrier in the way of the member promoting that work among the small number of posters and guests that frequent the forum.

There's a world of difference between that and some spam merchant coming on the forum to flog dodgy viagra pills...
                  Everything is self-evident.

Whilst I have the greatest regard for Twangman's work and having no issues with that, I was simple asking a question. No disrespect intended to anybody but I was aware that warnings about advertising had been issued in the past
and I am trying to establish if this ruling has changed. After all, advertising is advertising.

Jembo the ban on advertising is restricted to those who join only to promote themselves. Long standing members are welcome to promote any event etc that they think worthwhile.

Congrats to Liam on the recent book. I'm the proud owner of several of his publications and can thoroughly recommend the author.
