  • Beware the Ides of March

I always wondered what that was all about.......
What are the Ides of March? That's March 15. In Shakespeare's play, Julius Caesar was warned to "Beware the Ides of March" before his assassination. .

Lovely Ides of March here in North London. Feels like Spring has arrived.

I thought it Calpurnia that went to the soothsayer and was given the warning and on the Ides, she said to Caesar "go not to the Capitol today" But typical male, he ignored her

Just googled.....she said "What mean you Caesar? Think you to walk forth? You shall not stir out of your house today."
He probably accused her of being a nag......

Lincoln should have listened too, he was warned by a Kennedy..I think, the Kennedy was warned not to go to Dallas..not sure if it was a Lincoln, or was that the car.
