  • Looking for a Grave....

I am researching my Daniel/Daniels family from Dublin and I am trying to locate a couple of graves or likely burial sites without much luck.

The first is a Lizzie (Elizabeth) Daniels who died 29.12.1909 she was listed as living in Sarah Place Kilmainham which is where the family were from.

I am also trying to find the burial plot for her Son, William Daniels who died July 1947 he served in the army with the Royal Dublin Fusiliers. He was living in Woodroffe Cottages in Island Bridge.

    I have tried
    Glasnevin
    Bluebell
    Clontarf
    St. Caniclas
    Golden bridge
And Mount Jerome all without any luck .

I'm hoping for some help or advice.
    Thanks

      Wow what a co incidence!!

Does he have any pictures of the old Sarah place by any
      Chance??

Both Glasnevin and Mount Jerome have full records and neither of My Daniels are shown being buried there.

The census shows the family in 1911 living at 23 Sarah place

I'm sure there was a family named Daniels lived in Lombard Street in the 50's...

Thanks barefoot I don't have any reference to that street, but 1950 is quite recent so it's definiteky possible. I don't suppose you remember any first names?
The electoral registers would help but they are no longer available online.

No Chids, sorry but I will try and find out from my older siblings. Lombard Street is off Clanbrassil Street Dublin 8... an area once known as Little Jerusalem. I'm sure Damtheweather would remember the family name...
