I never thought I would see the day when a nun would be singing with a show band. Do you know what order she was from Cosmo

i don`t know what order, but it must be an irish one , she only 'cut' an album with the band to raise funds for the nuns to be able to return to ireland for holidays.

The little young fella next to the white sign is my Great Uncle Billier (William) Connaughton of the Ross Road. His brother Johnner married MOggy Dalton's daughter Harriet. Might not be the napper Tandy, but since it's the nearest pub to Billier's Mum (Mary Ellen Connaughton) I'll bet it was.

Half the family moved to Manchester in the 60s; Paddy, My Granda, Maureen, Carmel, Tommo Tny went and came back.

Billier used to drink in the Lamplighter on Meath Street for years (lived yards literally facing it). They all did; we lived in there when we came over. Harriet, Johnner, Billier, Bridie and Tony. Suzanne and Tony still do and the rest of my cousins.

                            God bless them all.

Great photo!!! Would love to know more about it!
