Yip.... think the first Hilton in UK was 1963....Ireland much later imo.... So with the garb on yer man and the well fed and groomed kids in the pic....it dont resemble 1951 Dublin.... but I've had fun checkin it all out.

Unveiled August 1907, to great controversy .....Fusiliers Arch.....more than 200 names of Irish Fusiliers killed in Boer War......Some called it The Traitors Gate.
The Arch is designed along the lines of the Arch of Titus in Rome.
I think it looks great where it is.....a fitting tribute to brave Irishmen.

I was under Fusiliers Arch last April listening to a Dublin Tour Guide telling his charges about the Arch. Fecking ejit must have just come off a bar stool. He got the build date wrong at 1905 and gave the wrong information about the number of names inscribed on the it.

Fucking disgrace to his native City.
