It's July the 21st.1932. The bread ma n is doing a u turn as his day is done and he is on the way back to base to meet the wife and kids as they are going to the strand today. The tram is 2 min late as it's now 2 10 pm and Tom Smith is never late...and on top of that the flower ladies want to have a cup of tea and a trip over to Tyler's as they have a sale on today.
Ps my grandad is trying to cross the road to get the tram home as his son has just told him he wants to get married and wants a few bob to help out....
