Little side issue , the 90 minute travel ticket 3.30c [ great value ] , the National Road Authority or the National Transport Authority have decided to withdraw this as they want all bus travel to go Leap Card ........ swines .

Leap Card does offer the Leap 90 discount which is €1 off your second fare as long as it starts within 90 minutes of your first fare. It applies to Dublin Bus, Irish Rail and Luas. Not only that but it is a rolling Leap 90. Start a third journey within 90 minutes of the second and it is also €1 less.

I often had to pop over to the job on day off , 4 bus journey involved , now luckily enough I did it within the 90 mins , as opposed to 2.70 x 4 [ cash ] , great value .

Other thing to remember with Leap is that fares will cap. If only using Dublin Bus you never pay more than €7 in a day or €27.50 in a week no matter how many buses you use:
Fare capping automatically caps the price you pay in a day or week with TFI Leap Card so you don't spend any more than you need to.
