He used to nearly jump the counter to chase us away from the door. He walked into the snug one day and caught us hiding in the corner...I thought he was going to have a heart attack....wouldn't mind I was over 18 by then...but he wouldn't believe me. He said he was going to tell me daddy...lol

I got barred from O'Connell's in March 1978 (due to a friend of mine celebrating his birthday there the previous day). On the night they refused me a drink I strolled down to O'Donoghue's, met a German girl, and a few months later was living with her in Germany. Sometimes fate takes a hand.

That's Kevin Kileen. Had'nt seen him for at least ten years and then bumped into him two weeks ago in a pub in Harold's Cross.
