well, a shop in the backyard
      that sold him free coal
      he said, bless me father
      sure, i've never stole

      in the tenters, they say
      in times. when your broke
you can steal coal and turf
      sure, it makes ''holy smoke''

you can see why mc henry's
      are rude to their mates
when their profits all piled up
      in brass fendered grates
      Here Rex!!!...Here Rex!!!.....Wuff!!!....... Wuff!!!

        Twas all fair to me
As I climbed o'er the wall
With me hands an me buckeh
        And heart fulla gall

        Mind yerself now
        I heard me Ma call
        And don't rip yer trousers
        Climbing dat wall

        Mind yerself son
        Mind the long fall
        As I dropped meself down
        O'er McHenry's back wall

        With me hands fulla slack
And me face like a sweep
        I gathered huge lumps
        All mine te keep

        Not for the neighbours
        Nor for te sell
        For a big roarin fire
Just like Nick's down in hell
