You are very welcome, Mai. I exist only to bring joy to my fellow Martians.
Here are another few which I hope may be of interest.Last edited by Guest; 10-03-2011, 06:56 PM.

They are great pictures Rashers. We moved to Finglas in 1957,we lived on Cappagh Drive.I left in 1971.It took me a while to settle in,I used to go back to my old hometown[Smithfield area] to my old mates, they gradually moved out too.Christy me ould pal moved to Finglas too and we got back together again. We had many a good night in The Drake and The Cappagh House. This was the 60s and Dale King was the big attraction in the Drake while Billy Hughes was the top man in The Cappagh House,he later moved to the Drake, think he replaced Dale King.We enjoyed watching many a good movie in the Casino [Cas].You mentioned Charley Brennens son who is in one of your pics. Would Charley be the same Charley Brennen who worked in Unidare? I started in Unidare in 1959 and Charley was working there.I never got to know him that well but I know he fough in the first world war and was something of a character around Finglas.
