                          Can,t say that I heard that one
                          The Ardnacrusha project was started in 1925 not long after the Civil War and finished in 1929 and there were Germans employed on it
                          Mostly mechanics and technical staff
                          The Irish workforce had gone on strike at the start and in order to break the strike they employed ex servicemen to break the strike
                          There were still civil war sentiments and looking after your own side mentality still going on then
