A left-wing Labour Party? Whatever next? Surely the question should be what has happened to New Labour? Corbyn's party is at least adhering to genuine left-wing policies, whether you like it or not, and I think he is at least sincere, though misguided. I don't have a problem with top earners paying more tax, and I'd welcome re-nationalisation if only to stop energy companies phoning me up or peddling their wares at the front door, though I think the costs involved would make it impracticable.
If people don't like Corbyn, why not ditch the Labour tag altogether, accept that socialism is a spent force and no longer relevant in today's society, and come up with an alternative that better reflects their goals and aspirations?
