Hope you have better luck than i've had.....3 installers made arrangements to call to the house....none of them showed up......emailed another 5 and got no reply......another one texted me a 11pm last night and said he's ring on Monday ....

I have cover with British Gas, so getting someone out is no problem. Do you not have anything similar? For the monthly premium I get an annual service and no repair charges, and a quick call-out - definitely worth having......

It was even colder this morning.....and now with the microwave packing up, I couldn't even warm up my cereal........sitting here hunched over the pc in my dressing-gown. At least I've got a small but warm oil-filled radiator, and if the boiler looks like being a long job they will probably give me a couple of heaters - I think they did last time.......

Don't envy ya , nothing as bad as being cold in the morning …….. stick the clothes on and get out for a good long walk …………..open fire ?? .
