Went to that school myself then to Marlborough street
Here is the map showing the entrance driveway up to the St. Georges church from Parnell Street
At time of map it was Summerhill as far as Marlborough St...
Lower Temple St. which in turn became Hill street had not been developed yet

The little court below the D in Golden lane......I can vaguely remember playing in there......cottage type houses at the back.....The back wall of them was left to prop-up the back wall of the Automac factory wall......it was still there the last time I lived there as it was a short cut from Mc Donagh House to our back yard and made it easy to climb over our back wall.....
                Here Rex!!!...Here Rex!!!.....Wuff!!!....... Wuff!!!

Well it's gotta be looking across from Roe's Distillery top end of Marrowbone lane.....St James' Church to the left there.....then down to St Audoen's and so on. OS map shows those two chimneys quite clearly.

                    • Henry Roe financed the rebuilding of Christ Church from 1871 to 1878 when the cathedral as we know it today was completed.
