  • I have always thought of Russia as a very cold place with oppressed people you are making it seem very attractive especially about the health care, I have been informed if you ring for an ambulance an ambulance arrives with doctor and nurse and if they can keep you at home they will and if you need hospital care they have you admitted to a hospital. I wish we had that here.

Joan, wonderful pic....but I was only 6 years old then ....
Re the health care system ....there is good and bad in all.
The Russian system keeps its dedicated people because it is so difficult for them to get work visas elsewhere. The Irish and UK systems are bleeding expertise because there are rich pickings to be had elsewhere .....I did exactly the same in my profession......and things are not going to get better anytime soon .....in fact never !

                    LOL......

I went to the dentist a few weeks ago.:.....Tuesday morning at eleven thirty, the dentist noticed something at the back of my throat.....He contacted the local hospital by e mail......I got a letter from the hospital on Thursday morning for an appointment at ten thirty the next day......

The specialist told me not to worry as it was just a cyst.......He then asked me if he could take pictures of the hole in my ear for training purposes....we had a good laugh about it.......

That is the third time I have had great service off the NHS
                    Here Rex!!!...Here Rex!!!.....Wuff!!!....... Wuff!!!

Tommie.....It was done by an Irish surgeon.....I can say that he was a ''good grafter''........A ''good ole skin'' indeed......

I took and picked up a lady yesterday who had a gall bladder removal op.....

It was supposed to be done on the 18th of December but she cancelled it because of Xmas......

All I ever see is great service from our NHS........No doubt there are problems but I have and the people I know, never encountered any.....

                        • I have a nephew who married a lady from Russia she loves it here but when she came first she was amazed to see so many gardens with so many flowers. She said in Russia land was mostly used for growing vegetables.

She now loves flowers Another Crumlin photo This time Rutland Avenue
