Anyone figured out what's going on ?

Trump has tweeted tonight that he's behind the isolation of the kingdom by it's Arab neighbours...

“So good to see the Saudi Arabia visit with the King and 50 countries already paying off,”

“They said they would take a hard line on funding… extremism, and all reference was pointing to Qatar.

“Perhaps this will be the beginning of the end to the horror of terrorism!”
One of the largest US airbases in the Middle East is in... Qatar ??!!
    Everything is self-evident.

Get back at 'the media' ??!! What about the rulers of Qatar ?? He met them only a few weeks ago during his visit to Saudi Arabia...

Quote from his meeting with the Qatari emir...

“We are friends, we’ve been friends now for a long time . . . our relationship is extremely good,” “One of the things we will discuss is the [Qatari] purchase of lots of beautiful military equipment. . . . It’s an honor to be with you.”

Nothing... that's a quote made on his way into the meeting with the emir.

Financial Times had it up. They also freed 150 militant fighters in Syria as part of the deal. Once Shia Iran is mentioned The Donald gets involved.

US agrees to sell $12 Billion worth of F15 fighters to Qatar.

The $12bn purchase of fighter jets comes as tensions between the emirate and its neighbours soar.

Kushner fails to secure $500 million loan from one of Qatar richest men to help him bail himself out of a poor property deal. His father in law then goes tough on Qatar.... coincidence perhaps

Qatar is facing an ongoing blockade. Kushner, meanwhile, has played a key behind-the-scenes role in hardening the U.S. posture toward the embattled nation.
