    Rashers

    Hi Jim,
I left for Birmingham again on the 15th Jan 1966, still only fields in Ballymun , returned to Ballymun in April 1967 and the flats were about six or seven floors up and we were amazed at the transformation of the area that had taken place in such a short space of time.

Have you seen it recently Joe? I was over by what they call Northwood (used to be Santry Woods as we called them) and it all looks so different. I see they've started building the new shopping centre and I'd say it's going to be big... I was shown where the foundations are being excavated somewhere along Sillogue Rd.

Did you get the messages I left for you on the other forum? About Bean ui Cribhinn' new book and Paddy the mechanic thinks the family you asked me about have moved out.
